Jeffrey Ward is the Director of Federal Business Development at Teksouth Corporation. Jeff’s service to Teksouth includes acting in various leadership roles for Teksouth. In his first assignment with Teksouth, he served as Senior Project Manager, a role in which he guided project management development and process improvement efforts for the company. Jeff’s twenty years of project and operations leadership in technical and engineering environments assisted him in driving Teksouth’s project management processes toward a more rigid, disciplined approach to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) based project management. Jeff brings broad experience in technology, engineering, manufacturing, and consulting, both domestically and internationally. He applies this expertise and experience in problem solving and decision making in high tech, high visibility, high complexity projects that bring high value to Teksouth’s customers and partners. Jeff currently directs the company’s business development in the Federal sector with specific emphasis on new development in the Army, continued growth within the DoD, and other Federal areas. He coordinates business development from initial vetting of opportunities through capture, as well as potential opportunities which evolve into firm development efforts. Teksouth relies on Jeff’s project management skills as its principle proposal manager. Jeff also serves as a key point of contact on several large IDIQ contracts, as well as a primary contact for Strategic partnerships. Jeff is a member of a number of professional organizations including: Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Huntsville Chapter, Board of Directors; Association of Proposal Management Professionals; Huntsville Aerospace Marketing Association (HAMA), Huntsville Area Small Businesses in Advanced Technology (HASBAT); Dayton Area Defense Contractors Association (DADCA); and Management Sciences Institute. |
