We believe that before a company can devise an accurate mission statement, an effective methodology or a consistent solution set, it must first begin with a corporate philosophy. Our philosophy is built upon a foundation dedicated adhering to IT ethics. What are IT ethics? Information Technology is often grouped together randomly with other professional services in the context of which canon of ethics may apply. However, IT is not like other professional services; it is unique in many ways. Information Technology touches every aspect of every type of organization - thus it is universal and ubiquitous. Our ethic then must suit both the needs of an IT provider as well as the needs of any industry which might depend on IT. Our core Philosophy at the TEC is simple - we strive for excellence on the edge. Succeeding at well understood solutions may be sufficient for some industries, but not for IT in the 21st century. We must master what's already well understood while simultaneously solving tomorrow's challenges. This means that we must constantly strive to push ourselves and push the practice of IT to the next logical levels...
